EY Head Office | Sandton
There was great buzz about the new EY Building at 102 Rivonia Road. People were talking about it! Not only was it about their bespoke new building that was being unveiled but also the release of their new brand (From Ernst & Young to EY – Building a better working world.)
SPS had worked on a few successful projects with the interior design team of Savile Row prior to the EY project and although this was a bit bigger than previous projects we had collaborated on, it was made simple by their ability to consider all aspects needed in pulling together a successful project.
As one would imagine, the building is as great a space on the inside as it is on the outside. Their corporate interior feel is minimalist with clean uncluttered spaces, the signs we produced needed to be both functional yet attractive and the addition of tiny accent colours pertaining to their new brand colours scattered throughout the building added a dimension of intrigue and interest. Even the various meeting room areas have their own designs for each floor that keep it functional yet tastefully creative enough to be able to serve as “artsy eye-candy”.
We are proud that we are continuing to work hand-in-hand with EY and ensuring their internal signage requirements are regularly brought to life, with our project collaboration having expanded into designing, producing and installing signage items at their other branches in South Africa.
